Chicken Embryo Extract is derived from 9–12 day-old chicken embryos and is used as a supplement of growth factors in tissue culture applications.
Chicken Embryo Extract is a high-quality protein source with a high protein content and an amino acid profile that closely resembles that of humans. It is also rich in essential minerals and vitamins, including high levels of potassium (K), iron (Fe), selenium (Se), as well as vitamins A, D, and B2, giving it substantial nutritional value. In addition to serving as a nutrient supplement, it may also exhibit potential health-promoting functions. Experimental studies have shown that Chicken Embryo Extract can effectively improve selenium deficiency in mice, enhance glutathione peroxidase (GPX) activity in low-selenium mice, and reduce levels of the lipid peroxidation product malondialdehyde (MDA). Some literature also suggests that Chicken Embryo Extract may have lipid-regulating properties.

来源 | Chicken |
形式 | Freeze-drying |
储存 | Recommended storage is -20°C or below. Lyophilized product may be stored at 2-8°C. |
溶解 | Reconstitute with water to 50% w/v. Solutions can be filtered through a 0.2 μm sterile filter as sterile. |
应用 | Tissue culture, cell culture, research on selenium malnutrition, blood lipid regulation |
使用方法 | 1. Thaw the product overnight at 4 °C, then allow it to equilibrate to room temperature before use. 2. Using ultra-purified water (0.2 µm filtered), reconstitute the product by introducing the water into the vial with a 10 mL syringe equipped with a hypodermic needle. Allow the vacuum in the vial to draw in the water passively. 3. Place the reconstituted samples on their sides and mix on an orbital shaker at 150 rpm at room temperature for 30 minutes to ensure complete dissolution. 4. If filtration is required, begin with sterile gauze (if needed), followed by sequential filtration through a 0.45 µm filter and finally a 0.2 µm filter to ensure sterility and clarity. |
